February 16, 1792, letter from Harrison to the Spanish governor of Natchez, Manuel Gayoso de Lemos, requesting his assistance in recovering a debt from Peter Bryan Bruin, who had moved to the region in 1788 and later served for many years as a judge for the Mississippi Territory.
